Microchip Technology Inc. is hiring a Principal Hardware Application Engineer for its Data Center Solutions Business Unit. The role supports field application engineers, sales teams, and customers throughout the product lifecycle for processor-based PCIe, storage integrated circuits, and reference designs. Responsibilities include hardware support, design reviews, board-level debugging, system bring-up, customer issue resolution, documentation, requirements management, and travel to customer sites. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or a related field, at least 10 years of hardware engineering experience, and expertise in system and hardware development, debugging, and high-speed signal integrity.
