CHAOS Industries is hiring a Principal Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Engineer to lead the architecture, development, and deployment of high-fidelity HIL simulation environments for effector platforms. The role covers requirements, simulation architecture, hardware and software integration, automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, validation, and transition to flight test, while guiding other engineers and establishing reusable frameworks. It is a full-time, on-site position in El Segundo, California, requiring a bachelor's degree, 10+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with real-time simulation platforms and Python or C/C++, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. The stated base salary range is $170,000–$240,000, with medical, dental, and vision benefits fully paid by the company.
