AECOM is hiring a Principal Hydraulic Modeller to lead advanced hydraulic modelling, hydrology, and flooding projects for water infrastructure and environmental clients. The role serves as a senior technical lead and subject-matter expert, developing methodologies, overseeing complex projects, providing specialist input, managing quality and cost estimates, advising clients, and mentoring staff. It is based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with a flexible hybrid working model and requires a relevant degree, chartered membership, and extensive experience with hydraulic modelling, hydrology, GIS, and tools such as Innovyze ICM, Flood Modeller, or TUFLOW.
