Description
AECOM is hiring a Principal Hydrologist to lead hydrological assessments for flood risk, infrastructure, catchment, water resources, and environmental permitting projects across the UK and internationally. The role provides technical direction on rainfall-runoff and river-flow modelling, reviews modelling outputs, advises clients, leads multidisciplinary projects, and mentors junior hydrologists. It is based in a UK or Ireland office with a flexible hybrid working model and requires a relevant degree, extensive hydrological assessment experience, UK hydrological guidance knowledge, modelling and data-analysis experience, project leadership ability, and chartered status or working towards chartership.
