Description
Cetera Financial Group is hiring a Principal Network Engineer to serve as the senior technical authority for enterprise network architecture, cloud networking, security, and network operations. The role covers on-premises, data center, branch, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, including Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, AWS, and Azure technologies; WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, firewalls, routing, wireless, automation, observability, incident response, architecture standards, and AI networking agents. The position requires at least 10 years of progressive network engineering or administration experience, advanced hands-on experience with the listed technologies, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent training, and CCNP or equivalent routing and switching expertise. It also requires 24/7 emergency response support and collaboration across U.S. time zones.
