Description
Alcoa is hiring a Principal Instrumentation Engineer for a full-time, site-based 12-month contract in Portland, Victoria, with a likelihood of extension. The role covers project scope definition, engineering documentation, quality and risk management, procurement and technical bid support, engineering budget control, commissioning, and technical guidance and peer review for discipline and project teams. Candidates need a relevant engineering degree or equivalent, eligibility for Engineers Australia membership, substantial Brownfields experience, mining or minerals industry experience, experience managing diverse teams across multiple locations, and strong client, inter-discipline, and construction interface management experience; field experience with Brownfield installations is highly desirable.
