Description
Vodafone is hiring a Principal IP Network Engineer to provide expert-level third-line support for complex IP/MPLS and transport networks. The role leads major incidents and critical core network outages, performs advanced troubleshooting across multi-vendor service provider environments, manages service restoration and root-cause analysis, engages customers and stakeholders, and supports operational excellence, automation, upgrades, and technical mentoring. The position requires 8 to 12+ years of experience in telecom, ISP, managed services, or service provider environments, with expertise in IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, traffic engineering, IPv4/IPv6, QoS, and platforms including Nokia, Huawei, and Cisco.
