Description
Vodafone is hiring a Principal IP Network Engineer to provide expert-level third-line support for complex IP/MPLS and transport networks in multi-vendor service provider environments. The role leads major incident resolution, critical core network outages, service restoration, root cause analysis, stakeholder communication, and continuous service improvement, while supporting customer escalations, network operations, troubleshooting, automation, and mentoring of Level 1 and Level 2 engineers. The position requires 8 to 12+ years of experience in telecom, ISP, managed services, or service provider environments, along with expertise in IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing, traffic engineering, IPv4/IPv6, QoS, and related platforms.
