RE Partners is hiring a Principal Java Developer to design, develop, and optimize low-latency, high-throughput backend systems for secure payment workflows. The role involves building RESTful APIs and microservices, working with messaging standards, deploying and scaling applications on Red Hat OpenShift and AWS, integrating with MongoDB and other datastores, and driving performance, fault tolerance, observability, and architectural improvements. The position is hybrid in New York and requires 10+ years of Java development experience, strong Core Java and Spring Boot expertise, and experience with cloud, container, and microservice technologies.
