BCI is seeking an unpaid volunteer Principal Learning and Development Officer to work from home and support the Directorship in the Capacity Building Division. The role focuses on identifying learning needs, curating and creating training opportunities, designing and delivering training initiatives, evaluating learning effectiveness, and providing administrative and resource management support. Candidates should have a background in learning design or corporate education, strong pedagogical understanding, excellent communication and organizational skills, Microsoft Office proficiency, familiarity with learning management systems such as Moodle or a willingness to learn quickly, and interest in climate change, climate finance, and blockchain. A degree or professional training in Online Learning Design, Learning and Development, or Online Learning is preferred, with additional knowledge in Climate Change or Environmental Science desirable.
