Description
Renesas is hiring a Linux Kernel Driver Engineer to design, develop, debug, and optimize Linux kernel drivers; participate in system architecture; profile and optimize I/O, memory, and interrupt handling; troubleshoot kernel issues; support customers in production deployments; validate drivers; and lead technical practices. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least five years of Linux kernel or driver development experience including three years in a senior technical role, strong C and kernel knowledge, and experience with bus protocols, Git, and CI/CD. Preferred qualifications include ARM or x86 platform driver development, OpenBMC experience, open-source contributions, and hardware bring-up.
