Wayve is hiring a Principal ML Engineer/Applied Scientist to lead the post-training, fine-tuning, alignment, and closed-loop deployment of Gaia, a large-scale world model used for synthetic driving scenarios. The role focuses on improving autoregressive generation stability, model architecture and training strategy, inference reliability, and downstream impact, while providing technical leadership and mentorship. Candidates need hands-on experience with large-scale model post-training, world models, autoregressive generation, diffusion or flow models, 3D vision, PyTorch, and modern ML engineering; relevant industry experience is typically 5+ years. The position is full-time and hybrid in London, United Kingdom.
