Bumble is hiring a Principal Machine Learning Engineer, Matching & Recommendations to define and lead the technical strategy for recommendation, ranking, personalization, AI agents, and two-sided marketplace optimization. The role involves designing and deploying production ML systems with PyTorch and other frameworks, building scalable data and ML pipelines, conducting experimentation, partnering with senior cross-functional leaders, mentoring individual contributors, and embedding responsible AI practices. The position typically requires 10–15 years of experience and strong expertise in machine learning, Python, large-scale systems, LLM prompting and fine-tuning, and production AI agents.
