Description
Definitive Healthcare is hiring a Principal MLOps Engineer & Functional Lead to architect, build, and scale machine learning and generative AI infrastructure at enterprise scale. The role covers ML and data pipelines, CI/CD, model deployment, feature and vector stores, workflow orchestration, LLM and RAG infrastructure, model training and fine-tuning, inference optimization, model registries, monitoring, and AWS autoscaling. As functional lead, the person will set engineering standards, architectural guidance, and operational SLAs while mentoring senior engineers. The position requires a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, 12+ years of data or ML engineering experience including at least 5 years in production MLOps, hands-on Databricks and AWS experience, and strong Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch expertise. Base compensation is $158,000–$294,000 per year, with medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401(k) benefits.
