Description
San José Clean Energy is hiring a full-time Principal Manager of Strategic Load, also titled Principal Power Resources Specialist, for its Account Management, Marketing, and Customer Programs Division. Reporting to the Deputy Director, the role develops and maintains a pipeline of large-load customers, qualifies opportunities, creates pursuit strategies and account plans, and designs compliant, revenue-adequate rate tariffs and service offerings. Responsibilities include serving as a relationship manager for data centers, advanced manufacturers, and electric vehicle charging providers; negotiating term sheets and special contracts; benchmarking utility offerings; ensuring accurate public claims; managing regulatory, procurement, delivery, and reputation risks; and coordinating with city departments and marketing. The position is hybrid, requiring part of the work week onsite in the downtown San José office.
