Meade is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer to serve as Engineer of Record for mechanical systems on complex data center projects. The role leads HVAC, chilled water, and mission-critical cooling design; develops drawings, specifications, and submittals; coordinates with clients, architects, and contractors; oversees design through construction; performs system analyses and energy evaluations; mentors engineers; manages budgets and schedules; and supports business development. Candidates need at least 8 years of mechanical engineering design experience, including 5 years in data centers or mission-critical facilities, a master's degree in mechanical engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and experience with hyperscale or colocation projects. The position is available to candidates residing in the listed states, with Virginia and Washington compensation ranges of $150,000-$191,000 and $167,000-$211,000, respectively, plus eligible medical, dental, vision, and other benefits.
