Mesa Associates is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer to serve as the senior technical advisor for its Piping & Pressure Systems practice serving Generation, Industrial, and Government clients. The role focuses on reviewing and checking piping and pressure vessel designs, calculations, drawings, stress analyses, and specifications; advising engineers on code compliance and design approaches; performing spot checks and walkdowns; stamping deliverables where appropriate; mentoring engineers; and supporting proposals and client discussions. The position requires a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree, a PE license, and at least 15 years of piping and pressure vessel engineering experience, including extensive power-industry experience.
