AECOM is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer for its South West and Wales water team, with flexible hybrid work from Exeter, Bristol, or Cardiff. The role supports multi-billion-pound water and wastewater capital programmes through feasibility studies, detailed mechanical design, plant selection, specifications, P&IDs, site surveys, construction support, and project delivery. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree, chartered engineer status or progress toward it, expertise in pump stations, piping, valves, hydraulics, and engineering reports, and experience in the water or wastewater industry.
