AECOM is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer for its Buildings & Places sector, specializing in data centre design and delivery. The role leads mechanical engineering projects for technology clients across the EMEA region, works with multidisciplinary teams, and contributes thought leadership and strategic growth. It is based on a hybrid schedule from London, Manchester, Belfast, or Plymouth, with travel as required. Candidates need extensive data centre project experience, a principal engineering track record, professional engineering or architectural qualifications, knowledge of building systems and permitting, Revit and digital design skills, and a degree in architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
