Description
Assystem is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversee engineering solutions for complex, highly regulated projects. The role leads and mentors engineering teams, manages project risks and work packages, reviews technical documentation, coordinates with clients and multidisciplinary experts, and supports safe, timely, and high-quality delivery. Candidates need a minimum 2:1 BEng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, demonstrable experience in a highly regulated industry, and familiarity with mechanical and structural design, CAD, FEA, technical files, and relevant engineering legislation; nuclear safety collaboration and functional safety knowledge are advantageous. The role is subject to security and export control restrictions.
