Avove is hiring a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical design across water and wastewater projects from feasibility through detailed design. The role covers pumping stations, treatment works, mechanical screening, chemical dosing, and sludge handling systems, while providing technical leadership, approving designs and cost estimates, managing multidisciplinary teams, supporting bids and project planning, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and CDM requirements. Candidates need detailed mechanical design experience, wastewater and clean-water treatment knowledge, project delivery experience, cost-estimation ability, a full driving licence, and willingness to travel.
