Description
KBR is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer in Adelaide to lead mechanically complex projects across the full project lifecycle, including concept and detailed design, contractor design assurance, equipment selection, construction support, testing, commissioning, and vendor review. The role focuses on industrial facilities, process infrastructure, and gas storage and supply systems, while also mentoring engineers and contributing to engineering standards and client relationships. Applicants must be Chartered or aspiring Chartered Mechanical Engineers with relevant project delivery experience, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, gas infrastructure and piping experience, Australian standards knowledge, stakeholder coordination experience, and CPEng status or the ability to obtain Chartered status. The position requires Australian citizenship, eligibility for a Baseline Defence Security Clearance, and ITAR eligibility.
