Description
The Mechanical Design Engineer independently designs and develops mechanical systems, enclosures, packaging, and electro-mechanical components for enterprise server, storage, networking, and rack infrastructure products. The role covers CAD modeling, thermal and structural analysis, reliability and environmental testing, manufacturing and production readiness, supplier coordination, and project management. It requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least eight years of hands-on mechanical design experience, with expertise in CAD, manufacturing processes, tolerance and GD&T strategies, and hardware validation.
