DBD is hiring a Principal Mechanical Engineer for a fully funded 2–3 year secondment in Adelaide, South Australia, supporting major defence and nuclear projects. The role leads complex mechanical engineering design, provides technical authority and assurance, manages design reviews and risks, supports systems integration, mentors engineers, and contributes to client and business development activities. Candidates need a mechanical engineering degree, chartered engineer status or equivalent Australian registration, significant experience in regulated industries, and eligibility for an Australian Defence security clearance where required.
