Principal ML Engineer - Large Molecules at Apheris

Apheris is hiring a Principal ML Engineer to own the delivery of large-molecule AI model programs for antibody modeling, co-folding, binder prediction, developability, and biologics discovery. The role is hands-on and technical, involving federated large-scale ML systems, foundation models such as OpenFold, Boltz-2, and ESM, MLOps, model evaluation and release, risk management, and collaboration with product, research, engineering, and scientific stakeholders. Candidates should have a PhD, MSc, or equivalent experience, at least five years of ML experience in complex scientific or biological problems, and hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, large-scale models, and Kubernetes-based ML infrastructure.
