Description
BAE Systems is seeking a Principal Naval Architect to conduct analyses and evaluations of submarine platform maneuvering performance, developing and validating mathematical models using physical model test data. The role involves collaboration with enterprise partners, naval architect teams, and customers to deliver innovative submarine solutions, along with supporting hydrodynamic sea trials. This position requires prior experience in generating ship or submarine maneuvering modeling, a strong understanding of hydrodynamic principles, and a degree in Naval Architecture, Aeronautical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
