AECOM is hiring a Principal OHL Design Engineer for its Transmission & Distribution team to lead complex overhead line design projects, support clients, and contribute to high-voltage infrastructure schemes. The role covers PLS-CADD modelling, line routing, structural analysis, sag-tension calculations, feasibility studies, design quality checks, proposals, and business development, while also mentoring team members. Candidates need CEng Chartered Engineer status, an engineering or electrical/power engineering degree, transmission-system-operator project experience, and overhead line engineering experience; the position offers hybrid working.
