AECOM is hiring a Principal OHL Design Engineer for its Transmission & Distribution team to lead complex overhead line design projects, support clients, and contribute to high-voltage infrastructure schemes such as National Grid’s Great Grid Upgrade. The role covers PLS-CADD modelling, routing, structural analysis, sag-tension calculations, feasibility studies, quality checks, mentorship, and business development. Candidates need CEng Chartered Engineer status, an engineering or electrical/power engineering degree, transmission-system-operator project experience, and preferably CDAE accreditation and overhead-line experience up to 400kV.
