Carrier is hiring a full-time Computational Engineer to lead numerical optimization of thermo-fluid systems for HVAC equipment, including chillers, heat pumps, and hydronic systems. The role develops and deploys model-based design and supervisory-control methods, formulates engineering problems as mathematical optimization problems, applies control-theoretic and machine-learning approaches, and supports product teams, internships, training, and technology roadmaps. The position is based onsite in Kennesaw, Georgia, with a possible hybrid arrangement of up to one or two remote days per week after onboarding, and offers an annual salary of $117,500 to $234,500 plus short-term cash incentives and benefits.
