Description
AECOM is hiring a Principal or Associate Flood Forecasting Modeller to lead technical flood-forecasting projects, develop and calibrate models such as Flood Modeller and PDM, review hydrometric data, produce technical reports, support tenders, and mentor team members. The role also includes non-real-time hydrological modelling, client and cross-disciplinary collaboration, and compliance with Environment Agency requirements. Candidates need significant flood-forecasting modelling experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, strong GIS and analytical skills, and knowledge of hydrological modelling methods; scripting experience is advantageous. The position offers hybrid working and flexible part-time arrangements.
