Description
The Principal Physical Design Engineer will own complex ASIC or SoC physical implementation from synthesized netlist through signoff, including floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, power and signal integrity, timing closure, ECOs, and physical verification. The role requires independent ownership of challenging design problems, technical leadership across the physical design team, collaboration with RTL, architecture, DFT, verification, package, and other engineering teams, and development of physical design methodologies and automation. The position is based in a remote or on-site location in the United States or Canada and offers a target base salary of $180,000–$260,000 per year plus equity, benefits, and a 401(k).
