Mastercard is hiring a Principal Platform Architect to lead enterprise-wide infrastructure and AI platform architecture across hybrid and cloud environments. The role defines target-state architectures, modernization roadmaps, security guardrails, resiliency standards, governance, and reference patterns; leads architecture reviews and technical escalations; and mentors architects and engineers. Required expertise includes AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, networking, compute, storage, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, Amazon Bedrock, Claude Code, and related AI governance and observability practices, along with 12–15+ years of enterprise infrastructure and cloud architecture experience.
