Description
IFS is hiring a Principal Platform Engineer focused on its Internal Developer Platform. The role owns the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the IDP, including self-service workflows, service catalogues, scaffolders, golden-path templates, and integrations with Kairos and Nexus. Responsibilities also include CI/CD integration, developer enablement, documentation, platform reliability, and collaboration with platform and product teams. The role requires hands-on production IDP experience, familiarity with Backstage, Port, or Cortex, and strong engineering skills across Go, React, Next.js, Kafka or RedPanda, PostgreSQL, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, containers, GitOps, and event-driven architecture. Hybrid work is supported.
