Microsoft is hiring a Principal Platform Power & Performance Engineer to characterize and optimize the power and performance of Azure Compute and AI infrastructure. The role spans silicon, server, firmware, operating-system, accelerator, workload, and datacenter systems, focusing on performance-per-watt, idle efficiency, energy proportionality, rack density, throughput, and cross-layer power and performance issues.
