Description
Oracle is hiring an IC4-level Cloud Observability Engineer to design, develop, and operate cloud-scale observability platforms for metrics, logs, traces, and related telemetry. The role focuses on scalable telemetry ingestion, processing, storage, indexing, query execution, reliability, fault tolerance, security, performance optimization, and troubleshooting of distributed systems serving OCI's internal services and global customers. The engineer will also collaborate with product, architecture, SRE, and service teams, mentor junior engineers, and lead technical strategy. The posting requires a computer science degree or equivalent, at least six years of industry experience, and experience with Java, Go, C, C++, Python, cloud-scale products, multi-tenant services, concurrent programming, open-source technologies, and cloud development and operations. The US hiring range is $104,500 to $234,600 per annum, with medical, dental, and vision insurance among the benefits.
