Oracle is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer, IC4, for its Internal Oracle Database (IOD) team. The role combines database administration and database systems expertise with software development engineering to design, build, and operate highly scalable, reliable, and automated database services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing distributed systems, automation for database lifecycle and fleet operations, observability and remediation, production troubleshooting, and improving reliability, performance, security, and operational efficiency.
