Oracle is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer, Career Level IC4, for its Internal Oracle Database (IOD) team. The role focuses on designing, developing, and operating large-scale, highly available, and resilient distributed database services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Responsibilities include building automation and self-healing workflows for provisioning, lifecycle management, monitoring, patching, upgrades, backup, recovery, and fleet operations; troubleshooting complex production issues; improving reliability, scalability, observability, security, and operational efficiency; and contributing to architecture and engineering initiatives for OCI's foundational data services.
