AstraZeneca is hiring a Principal Process Engineer to support clinical and commercial cell therapy manufacturing across its Santa Monica and Tarzana, California facilities. The role leads MS&T engineers, provides on-the-floor technical support, manages deviations and CAPAs, performs data trending and process performance analysis, supports technology transfer and process validation, and contributes to regulatory and lifecycle activities. Candidates need a relevant PhD, M.S., or B.S. with the specified years of industry experience, GMP and cell therapy unit operations expertise, statistical analysis skills, and strong technical communication. The position is on-site with approximately 15% travel and an on-call rotation, with an annual base pay range of $142,377.60 to $213,566.40 and medical, dental, and vision benefits.
