Description
Verdigris is hiring a Principal Product Engineer to own the engineering roadmap for its cloud platform that powers AI-infrastructure observability, intelligence, and orchestration. Reporting to the cofounder/CTO and partnering with Product as a peer, the role will audit and mature the platform’s reliability, scalability, observability, and technical debt; organize ownership across ingestion, ML signal processing, validated operating limits, APIs, MCPs, and workflows; ship production code and resolve reliability and performance issues; establish AI-native development practices; and help hire and raise the engineering bar. The role requires senior individual-contributor experience, strong cloud, data, or ML platform expertise, production-quality engineering judgment, and the ability to translate customer and analytics signals into prioritized build plans.
