Microsoft is hiring a Principal Product Manager for its Commerce team to define product strategy, roadmaps, and long-term investment opportunities for AI-powered shopping experiences. The role partners with engineering, design, data science, product marketing, and other stakeholders; leads product development from concept through launch and iteration; and uses customer insights, usability research, data, and performance metrics to improve product outcomes. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in product, service, program management, or software development, with equivalent experience accepted. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of experience, cross-functional leadership, product-metrics expertise, data analytics and experimentation experience, and SQL and coding skills. The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $142,800-$274,800 per year, with higher ranges for the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area.
