Description
Energy Vault is hiring a Principal Project Engineer to lead electrical design and integration for utility-scale and behind-the-meter power projects, with primary responsibility for high- and medium-voltage substations and electrical balance-of-plant. The role covers concept development, utility interconnection, detailed design, procurement, construction support, commissioning, energization, and coordination with utilities, EPC contractors, equipment suppliers, and generator OEMs. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical or power-system engineering, at least seven years of project design experience, direct HV/MV substation design experience, and familiarity with relevant electrical standards; PE certification is preferred.
