Code Metal is hiring a senior Python Backend Engineer to build backend services, APIs, pipelines, and tooling for a wargaming and decision-support simulation platform. The role covers mission- and campaign-level simulation orchestration, scenario generation, Monte Carlo sensitivity analysis, data ingestion and analysis, distributed cloud-scale infrastructure, and integration with agentic AI and machine learning pipelines. It requires 10+ years of experience, enterprise Python software development, scalable API and containerization expertise, strong SDLC practices, and eligibility for a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
