Description
Kapta Space is hiring a Principal Radar Engineer in Seattle, Washington to lead spaceborne MTI radar systems engineering and algorithm development. The role focuses on defining detection, tracking, and performance requirements; developing Doppler, clutter-suppression, detection, association, and tracking algorithms; modeling radar and tracker performance in MATLAB and Python; conducting waveform and processing trade studies; analyzing simulated and measured data; and partnering with RF, antenna, FPGA, software, and systems teams to implement and validate algorithms. The engineer will also serve as an MTI radar subject-matter expert, mentor engineers, support customer reviews, and help grow the radar team.
