Tampa Microwave is hiring an Associate Engineering Director in Clearwater, Florida, reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering. The role leads the design, analysis, integration, testing, and requirements development of land-based satellite communication systems, including RF components, antennas, modems, power supplies, and waveguide and filter technologies. Responsibilities span system-level hardware and software requirements, project engineering, compliance testing, design reviews, make-or-buy decisions, proposal preparation, and customer coordination. The position requires U.S. citizenship, a master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, or physics combined with business education or equivalent experience, and at least 20 years of military or commercial SATCOM experience; a Ph.D. is preferred. The role offers hybrid remote working, a yearly incentive bonus, a 401(k) contribution, paid time off, and a 9/80 schedule.
