Description

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is hiring a Principal RF Systems Engineer to architect and integrate high-power RF systems for the SPARC tokamak. The role leads RF plant architecture, solid-state amplifier and power-supply integration, instrumentation and control, high-power transmission, impedance matching, commissioning, troubleshooting, and mentorship. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field, at least 15 years of hands-on high-power RF experience, and expertise in RF electronics, simulation, embedded control, and EMI/EMC mitigation. The position is onsite, requires occasional travel or night/weekend/on-call work, and includes health, dental, and vision insurance plus equity and other benefits.
