Description
Pioneering Intelligence, part of Flagship Pioneering, is hiring a Principal Scientist (Embedded ML/Computational) to lead AI/ML and computational projects that accelerate pharmaceutical R&D across preclinical, translational, and clinical programs. The role focuses on defining pragmatic AI strategies, building and scaling agentic systems and end-to-end scientific workflows across omics, biomolecule design, systems biology, literature mining, and related computational biology domains, while collaborating with Pioneering Medicines, venture teams, and external partners. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience in machine learning and computational sciences, strong leadership and cross-functional communication skills, and familiarity with modern ML frameworks, Python, and agentic AI tooling.
