Calico is hiring an experienced Process Chemist for its laboratory-based chemical development team. The role focuses on designing, optimizing, and executing synthetic processes for small-molecule intermediates and APIs, including route scouting, scale-up, reaction analysis, impurity identification, process-risk mitigation, technology transfer, and cross-functional collaboration. The position requires a PhD in Organic Chemistry or a related field, at least 8 years of relevant industrial process chemistry experience, strong synthetic organic chemistry expertise, analytical proficiency, and onsite availability five days per week. The estimated base salary is $197,000 to $230,000, with eligibility for two annual cash bonuses.
