Description

Microsoft is hiring a Principal Security Engineer for its Data Processing Unit (DPU) team to develop and enhance DPU security features. The role focuses on cryptographically secure boot, certification, attestation, and manufacturing flows; secure enclave design and runtime services; post-quantum cryptography; and integration of the DPU into Azure and other cloud scenarios. The engineer will collaborate with hardware, firmware, system architecture, and other Microsoft teams and apply expertise in low-level programming, cryptography, security, and distributed systems. A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least six years of technical engineering experience are required, with additional embedded software, cryptographic, and secure-enclave experience preferred.
