Description
Microsoft is hiring a Principal Security Engineer for its Windows Security team to secure Windows client and server operating systems. The role focuses on offensive security, vulnerability research, proof-of-concept mitigations, security design and code reviews, penetration testing, and building reusable security agents and tools. The engineer will partner with Windows product engineering teams, interact with external security researchers, and help design durable and scalable defenses. Required qualifications include a relevant master's degree with 4+ years of security or related experience, or a relevant bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent experience; preferred qualifications include native C/C++ vulnerability work, software engineering experience, security research, bug exploitation, and Windows architecture familiarity.
