Description
OpenAI is hiring a Principal Security Engineer for its Infrastructure Security team to protect GPU supercomputing clusters, multi-cloud infrastructure, datacenters, networking, storage, Kubernetes, service meshes, and other critical systems supporting frontier AI models. The role owns security strategy and delivery for critical infrastructure areas, designs controls across hardware, firmware, operating systems, networks, and CI/CD, leads cross-functional security programs, conducts threat modeling and design reviews, and mentors engineers. Candidates should have deep cloud and on-premises infrastructure security expertise, experience leading large cross-organization initiatives, knowledge of container and orchestration security, and strong analytical and communication skills.
